  • A small physical-repair recall covers 19 U.S. 2026 Model Ys with potentially under-torqued front-suspension fasteners. NHTSA campaign 26V558 says one or more lateral-link fasteners may loosen or separate, shifting wheel alignment and potentially reducing control. Abnormal front-suspension noise may be a warning. Rumors and early signals

  • The current Cybercab reportedly cannot accept AC home charging because the production vehicle lacks an onboard charger. Kyle Conner of Out of Spec said he inspected a launch vehicle and found that its rear NACS inlet accepts DC fast charging, while InsideEVs explains that the missing AC-to-DC onboard converter leaves present vehicles dependent on Superchargers until Tesla’s planned wireless system arrives. This is a meaningful ownership constraint if Tesla eventually sells Cybercab to individuals, but it is not Tesla-confirmed, no consumer version is on sale, and Tesla could revise the hardware.   • Meaningful inventory discounts: no new Hawaii/ZIP 96825 VIN discount was confirmed. Tesla’s dynamic inventory remains the final authority; verify location, VIN condition, mileage and final order price before treating any national demo markdown as locally available.
  • Signs a stronger promotion may be approaching: quarter-end is under three weeks away and Tesla has not improved the headline U.S. APR or lease terms since yesterday. That supports watching for VIN-specific markdowns, but it is not evidence that a better nationwide program will arrive.
  • Buy now or wait: wait if the purchase is flexible. Current financing is favorable for qualified buyers, but local inventory remains unresolved and there is still no verified U.S. zero-down lease, broad cash rebate, FSD-transfer program or Hawaii-specific incentive.
