The financing requires excellent credit and at least 5% down plus taxes and fees; Model 3 RWD, Model Y L Premium, used vehicles and enterprise sales are excluded under the applicable terms. Entry leases remain $419/month for Model 3 RWD and $499/month for Model Y RWD, each for 36 months, 10,000 miles/year and $3,000 down, plus a $695 acquisition fee and $0.25/mile overage charge. CarsDirect’s ZIP 90245 cards list $4,114 and $4,194 due at signing, producing effective costs of $533.28/month and $615.50/month respectively, before taxes, registration, insurance, maintenance and any undisclosed disposition fee.   • Cybertruck Powershare can now work with Powerwall 3, closing a long-delayed home-backup gap. Tesla announced September 10 that Cybertruck and Powerwall 3 can power a home together, claiming the truck can add more than three days of backup—based on Tesla’s stated assumption of 30 kWh/day—and energy equivalent to roughly nine 13.5-kWh Powerwalls. Tesla’s Powershare page lists up to 11.5 kW continuous home-backup output and says an existing Powerwall plus Wall Connector requires no separate Powershare Gateway.   • A U.S. lawmaker asked DOT/NHTSA to address apparent sleeping-driver misuse of Autopilot and FSD. Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi cited 43 public videos, including 17 posted this year, and asked whether Tesla’s cabin-camera safeguards can be defeated by obstruction, sunglasses or hats.   • No qualifying new buyer-relevant rumor cleared the freshness and evidence threshold. App-code claims about robotaxis replacing service loaners and forum/social sightings remain unconfirmed product ideas, not available customer programs.   • Offers approaching expiration: CarsDirect’s ZIP 90245 snapshot still labels all 12 lease cards as expiring September 30; Tesla publishes no fixed U.S. expiration and can change terms at any time.
  • Meaningful inventory discounts: Tesla’s accessible national inventory result showed demo/repaired Model Y reductions around $1,320–$1,740, but it did not establish location or ZIP 96825 eligibility. No Hawaii-specific discount was confirmed. Verify the exact VIN, condition, mileage, delivery location and final order price directly with Tesla.
  • Signs a stronger promotion may be approaching: quarter-end is under three weeks away and national inventory markdowns persist, but there is still no verified U.S. zero-down lease, broad cash rebate, FSD-transfer offer or Hawaii-specific incentive.
  • Buy now or wait: wait if the purchase is not urgent. National financing and lease terms did not improve, local inventory is unresolved, and quarter-end may produce better VIN-specific reductions.
